I was born and raised in Orange County, Southern California. My parents are from Guatemala and Mexico, Central America. I speak Spanish and English and trying to Improve my Italian. I graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with a degree in Sociology and Italian Language studies. I've always had a passion to increase my understanding and knowledge of the world, social groups, behaviors and cultural aspects and how they effect our personal and professional lives. In 2011 I decided to pursue my passion for traveling, which I hadn't done much of, and became TESOL certified. My certification landed me with a job in Istanbul, Turkey where I taught for 7 months and had the opportunity to travel to nearby countries. I came back to the U.S. and taught for another year in San Diego and San Francisco. In 2013 I worked for Berlitz Co. managing all the Instructors in the Northwest Market Area (3 centers) where I started my management career in the field that I loved most, languages. For 2014 I am currently managing a small housing company(Turkish owned) that specializes in accommodating International students and working professionals in the Bay Area. Most of our customers are in the U.S. to improve their English and/or attempting to attend an American University. It's been a great and successful journey and I owe it all to my teaching experience.

TESOL Training International gave me the structure and direction to start a new profession where I could combine my love of travel with my education. When I completed the course, I left for Dubai – with a job arranged by TTI that included accommodation and a plane ticket. When I arrived, there were few surprises thanks to the information and preparation I’d been given. The TTI staff will give you the training and the techniques, then they use their years of experience and contacts to help you find the job that suits you best. All that provides a formula for success that is rare.
