I lived in Japan for 18 yrs., during which time I taught English extensively to all levels of Japanese students, from kindergarten to college level, as well as adult learners. My first hand experience with both Japanese and Korean culture has given me a unique insight into the challenges and complexities of relating to these people, and more importantly, how to most effectively teach English to them, whether simple grammar or more advanced conversational English. I enjoy working with international students and being able to help them overcome obstacles and live more productive lives. My passion is to help bridge our two cultures, one here in the United States, with other cultures around the world. I look forward to each day with excitement, knowing that I will have the chance to help just one more person experience what I have. Welcome to TESOL Training Seattle!
