Teach English in Saudi Arabia
Being a TESOL teacher in Saudi Arabia is a bit different from teaching anywhere else: you will receive a high salary, job security, but at the same time you may experience being a bit isolated from the culture outside of your class. You can expect the highest salaries in the TESOL world in this desert kingdom, but you must have a high level of education and experience. Teachers typically have a Master's Degree in TESOL or a related field, plus 2 to 5 years experience teaching ESL. There are exceptions, however, so if you want to work here, let us know. When you are a teacher in Saudi Arabia, you will be housed with other foreigners away from the locals, so it is difficult to interact with the culture outside of the classroom; however, in the classroom, you will find Saudi students to be delightful to teach. Students are respectful and eager to learn. There are teaching positions for men AND women here, regardless of what many people think. If you approach teaching in Saudi Arabia with an open mind and open heart, you will find it one of the most rewarding experiences of your life.
