Terms of Enrollment

Program Upgrades

Program upgrades are not subject to a processing fee. If you register in, for example, Program 1, then later decide to upgrade to a higher program, you are not charged an upgrade processing fee.
Transfer Policie
s

In-Class Course Transfer

There is a $50 transfer processing fee if you transfer your registration from one in-class course date to later in-class course date.

There is no transfer processing fee if you transfer your registration from one study method to another study method. If you register to study online or by correspondence, but then decide later to attend this course in-class instead, you need only pay the difference in tuition. If you register to study the in-class and then decide later to study this course online or by correspondence, you will be refunded the difference, provided you haven’t attended any of the sessions for the in-class course.  No refunds will be provided if you have attended any of the days in-class.
If you have completed the course online or by correspondence, you have the option to attend this course in-class anywhere we offer it, at any time in the future. A $50 processing fee applies. If the course tuition fee increases between the time you paid for it and the time you choose to attend the course in-class, then you will have to pay the difference between these two prices plus a $50 processing fee.
For example, if you paid $1000 for the course, but when you decide to take it in-class the fee is $1,100, then you will have to pay the difference plus a $50 processing fee, which in this example would be $150.
If you are a past in-class course graduate and wish to take the entire course again in the future, a $50 processing fee applies, plus any tuition increases. If you are a past in-class course graduate, and in the future wish to drop in and attend a portion of another course, no additional charges apply.
Refund Policy


In-Class TESOL Course

If you register for the in-class "Standard TESOL Course A" and then later decide to cancel your registration, the following applies:
You are charged $100 one week before the course start date if you decide to cancel Program 1, and $75 for each additional Specialization course that you cancel/return.


Correspondence courses


You have up to 14 days after receipt of the course to apply for a correspondence course refund. To apply for a refund, you must fill out the course refund form found online, then submit it to us within 14 days of receipt of the course. Once we have reviewed your application and approved your refund, you are to promptly return all course materials to our office at your expense, unmarked and in original "Like New" condition ONLY. Tuition refund for Program 1 is subject to a $100 fee.
Note: If you register for a specialization course by correspondence but do not register for the foundation course, a refund is NOT available. You must register for the foundation course plus a minimum of one Specialization course in order to qualify for a refund.

Online courses

No refunds are available due to the nature of electronic data. You are able to view the "Table of Contents" and a 1 page summary of each course on our website, or you may call us if further information or explanation is required.
